How to Manifest Money or Anything

How to Manifest Money or Anything

What do you want to Manifest and how can you do it?

I’ve gone from homeless single mother because of domestic violence to multiple international award-winning CEO, author, speaker, charity advocate and brand ambassador. Mindset was key to changing my life.

When I live with an abundant mindset it is incredible the things that come into my life – furniture, overseas trips, qualifications, money and experiences. When I stress about money and wonder how I will make ends meet, it is almost as if my money dries up completely and so do the experiences.

When I was younger, I didn’t think much of the law of attraction or my mindset when it came to money. In my late 20s it became extremely clear how my thoughts impact my life and especially my money.

This post is all about things I have done to manifest amazing experiences, abundant money and the lifestyle I want. Right now, I live in Noosa, Queensland. We live right near the beach, pre-covid we were travelling internationally doing travel writing. Now, I do various writing work from home and we have a pretty flexible lifestyle.

Does the Law of Attraction and Mindset Really Work?

In my experience, yes. But it isn’t just about thinking you want something then sitting back and it will happen. You need to put yourself out there, take action and be open to opportunities. Mindset is crucial but so is making yourself available.

How do I use the Law of Attraction and Mindset?

There are so many things which all add up to make it easier. Don’t try doing everything at once, instead, ease yourself into it by trying one thing at a time.

It’s essential you put emotion behind it. Truly feel and visualise whatever it is you want. Here are some of the resources and techniques I’ve used plus how well they have worked for me.

My Favourite Manifestation Example

When I left my abusive marriage, there was a protection order in place and custody was not finalised at the time. Over the years I attempted to get it done. In the end, 7.5 YEARS after I left him, I was awarded full custody. It cost a fortune and was extremely stressful but I got what I wanted.

During this process, I found it difficult to fully trust I would get custody. So many horror stories were shared everywhere and it was clear from the work I was doing around homelessness and domestic violence that courts weren’t doing anyone any favours.

Finally, in 2018, it was coming to the end. I was granted another protection order, this time for 5 years because he was still harassing us. When going through court for that, I visualised us being protected until my girls were adults, which is essentially what I was given.

My Visualisation for Winning Custody

While going through court for the protection order, we were in the middle of custody and I was waiting on a court date, which took almost 2 years from the last one to get.

At this time, I manifested a trip to a tropical paradise (the Solomon Islands) where I had a week on the ocean, diving, snorkelling, swimming and enjoying life. On this trip, I saw it clearly, me winning custody.

I went home and whenever I doubted I would bring back the image in Mane Bay, at the Solomon Islands, visualising my kids and I there, finally free. Below is an image of the exact spot and boat I’d be on in this visual.

Another one I had was the final day in court. I knew what dress I was wearing, shoes, bag, how my hair was done, what was said, all of it. And I visualised it with full emotions regularly.

The final day in court came 6 months later and it went almost exactly as I envisioned. While the Mane Bay part hasn’t happened yet, my kids have travelled with me to the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu.

Manifest $1,000 in 21 Days

Unleash Your Inner Money Babe (only $6.99 on Kindle) is a 21 day challenge which steps you through different techniques all with the aim of manifesting $1,000 in 21 days. The point of it all is to learn to let go of the how and instead change your mindset while opening yourself up to opportunities and looking for them.

I’ve done this numerous times. The first time I got $1,000 towards the end of the 21 days through a new client. Another time, I aimed for $5,000 to cover some expenses and my parents randomly gave my siblings and me $5,000 each.

Right now, I am doing the challenge with my partner. Within two days I was contacted by someone I met over a year ago to do some work. Then when we were doing a brainstorming session on manifesting, we came up with some ideas. One of which was Airtasker and from that we’ve secured a few gigs plus potentially an ongoing contract for me.

We have also received discounts on so many things we needed and a bunch of freebies this week doing the challenge. It’s my favourite challenge to do and now I do it for amounts much higher than $1,000.

Podcasts

I have a selection of podcasts I listen to which help me stay focused, inspire me and teach me new techniques. One is Manifestation Babe, from the author of Unleash Your Inner Money Babe, Kathrin Zenkina.

I also have different podcasts for different areas of my life I am interested in improving. For example, The Strategy Hour for business, Relationship Advice for relationships, Tim Ferriss for interesting people and how they have been successful etc.

Search for podcasts on topics relevant to you.

Vision Board

I have a whole motivation wall which I’ve shared before and discussed. Essentially, it has my vision board, debt and saving charts, affirmations, quotes, goals and my calendar printed out and stuck on the wall. It’s located in my bedroom so I see it first thing every morning and last thing at night.

Goals in Permanent Marker on the Mirror

Quotes and my goals are written in permanent marker on my mirrors. It comes off with window cleaner but can’t get smudged off accidentally the way whiteboard marker can.

I am clear on what I want, not always how but always definite about what I want. When I am wishy washy and unsure, things don’t progress. When I’m definite, it falls into place much easier.

Part of this is because when you know what you want, your subconscious, as well as the Law of Attraction, will constantly work in the background to make it happen. If you keep changing or second guessing yourself, how are they supposed to work for you?

Miracle Morning

When I stick to my morning routine, my day goes so much better. I am not always 100% perfect with it, it does make a difference though. My miracle morning consists of yoga or another exercise, reading some of a positive/life/motivation book, meditation, journalling, gratitude and affirmations with visualisation.

Each one doesn’t need to take long, it can be as short as a few minutes to as long as I want, depending on my morning.

With the reading, my partner and I do this part together and sometimes the meditation etc too. For reading, we select a book and read a chapter together then do whatever activities are involved. At the moment, it is Unleash Your Inner Money Babe. Next will be The Big Leap.

Gratitude

Each night at dinner, we go around the table and everyone lists 3 things they are grateful for that day. We also say a compliment for each member of the family, something we saw them do well or appreciate them doing.

In my journal, I write 3 or more things I am grateful for and whenever I am faced with an obstacle, I try to think of 3 things to be grateful for.

Gratitude helps direct your thinking from a negative downward spiral to being more appreciative and problem solving. This doesn’t mean you will be positive and high vibe all the time. It is simply something which can help shift things sometimes.

Ho’oponopono

Learning about Ho’oponopono was a game changer for me. It’s a Hawaiian practice for healing. Essentially, it heals you from negative thoughts and patterns you have developed.

Once I started practising it daily, my life shifted drastically. To do it, you need to take time and be in the right headspace or at least try to be. Write down negative thoughts or situations or memories you want to heal and clear. Go through your list and with each one feel the emotions you have around it then use the following 4 phrases with that memory.

I Forgive You

Means you release this from yourself and it is no longer your problem. You won’t allow it to affect you anymore or block your energy.

I’m Sorry

Is you acknowledging the situation and being sorry for holding onto it for so long. It will no longer be allowed to bother you.

Thank You

Showing gratitude for the lessons this situation taught you.

I Love You

Send love to the situation. A motto in our home is “Approach everything with love.” This matches that.

Find What Works For You

Learning more about the Law of Attraction, practising it, trusting in the process and doing what I can when opportunities present themselves is how I got where I am.

I didn’t take it all on at once. Instead, I chose a habit to change or something to start with, worked on it for a while then added more. Trying to overhaul your whole life at once can be too much. But if you feel it’s right for you, go for it.

Learn about the Law of Attraction and manifesting, implement what works for you and see how you go. I would love to hear more about how you do in The Thrifty Issue Facebook Group!
