Be aware, most of them require you to be a member or to have joined well before your birthday, so sign up now.

You will typically need to be signed up to their email list or have the app on your phone to be eligible.

Read the fineprint as some require you to make purchases throughout the year to be eligible, some are only valid for your actual birthday and others are for longer.

Better Than a Birthday Freebie: $100 Cash!

ING has their $100 Orange Everyday sign-up offer on. They share different rewards at different times and right now you can get $100.

If you are a new customer of ING you can get $100 for opening an everyday account with them. Here’s what you need to do:

Open an everyday account, put the promo code CNW116 in the promo box (you must use the code to get the $100 bonus), and complete all the steps below in the first month.
Deposit $1,000 into the account such as your income or Centrelink payments
Make 5 settled transactions
Open a Savings Maximiser (current interest rate is 5.5%)

Most salons offer a birthday freebie so check with your local ones, especially the chain stores in your large shopping centres.

Large beauty brands offer birthday discounts too but for most of them you need to spend a certain amoutn throughout the year.

The birthday gifts they offer can be worth over $100 though so if you do use a specific brand of skincare or makeup, be sure to join the loyalty program.
