Chocolate pancakes

Chocolate pancakes with ice cream and chocolate sauce is one of my favourite desserts and the fact that they are so easy to make is even better

You can adapt any pancake recipe by adding cocoa and chocolate chips but below is the recipe I use.
Chocolate Pancakes

2 eggs
2 C SR Flour
1/2 C Sugar
1 1/2 C Milk – depends on the consistency you like
1/4 C Cocoa
1 C Choc chips

Put everything but the chocolate chips and mix until all combined and no lumps. Add the chocolate chips and fold in.

Melt butter in a frying pan on medium heat and pour dollops of batter into the pan.

Once the batter bubbles flip the pancakes and cook the other side.

Serve as a stake with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce.

Pancakes like this can be close to $20 for a plate in a restaurant and you can make them for the whole family for much less!
